The Waikato Students’ Union provide students with an unique service on campus. Established in the ’70s to be the voice of the Student body on campus. They are instrumental in entertaining students through events, games and let’s not forget the infamous O’Week. They also provide advocacy, student services, representation, clubs support, student discounts and ticket services and the staple weekly diet of the always entertaining and informative Nexus Magazine.

Waikato Students Union have utilised the amazing talent we have here in the Waikato by supporting local music through the organisation of gigs and events and will continue to do so. This year will be no exception, for O’week the winning band will play a paid Orientation event!
